RedCloud joins Microsoft enterprise cloud alliance
RedCloud Technologies has announced that it has been accepted to the Microsoft Enterprise Cloud Alliance. Headquartered in London, RedCloud has developed a bank-grade, open architecture, cloud-based platform that delivers digital financial services at high speed and lower cost to new markets.
The platform, which was built by the technology team behind M-Pesa, facilitates a plug and play infrastructure for international payments to lending and digital accounts. It can be effortlessly configured to meet the most stringent levels of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements. RedCloud is already engaged with a number of international banks and ecommerce businesses across Africa and the Middle East.
RedCloud’s collaboration with Microsoft Corp. is expected to build on these efforts even further as the company’s flagship product, RedCloud One, will work seamlessly with Microsoft products.
Katia Hilal, RedCloud’s COO noted, “Being able to align ourselves with an organisation like Microsoft truly supports our commitment to enable banks to reach more customers in more markets with valuable and convenient financial services. Trust is crucial when you’re operating in the international finance sector and Microsoft is one of the most trusted brands in the world. The Microsoft Azure platform is a perfect fit for our technology, and we’re very pleased to be part of the Enterprise Cloud Alliance.”
All of RedCloud’s technology was developed on the Microsoft .NET stack, all data is processed through Microsoft SQL Server, and in using Azure, it can deliver rapid, scalable, and cost-effective deployments.
“We are delighted to welcome RedCloud into the Microsoft Azure partner ecosystem,” said Nicole Herskowitz, senior director of product marketing, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Corp. “RedCloud’s software uses Azure to deliver a reliable, omni-channel solution on a global scale. It’s an excellent addition to our Enterprise Cloud Alliance, and we look forward to working together in the future.”
