Justin Floyd is an award-winning entrepreneur with a 25-year track record of founding and investing in pioneering technology companies solving the world’s biggest economic and social challenges. 

He founded RedCloud to address fundamental issues with the global supply of consumer goods that prevent brands, distributors and retailers in fast-growth economies from trading efficiently, transparently and cost-effectively with one another.   

Justin’s previous experience includes founding and running Vecta, one of EMEA’s fastest-growing cloud intelligence companies (acquired by Kerridge), and co-founding CCL, one of the first transatlantic fintech companies, which he scaled to $2bn trading volume in just two years. He is also an investor in Cambridge Medical Robotics (valued at £3bn), and Omnisense, an innovative real-time locating system. 

Justin is twice a regional Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year finalist, four times a Red Herring 100 winner, a Finalist Codie award winner, and a Fast Track 100 finalist.

Soumaya Hamzaoui
Co-Founder & CPCO

Soumaya is the Chief Product & Commercial Officer at RedCloud. Her role includes, overseeing the product vision, strategy and roadmap and the commercial strategy of the business.

Her dynamic work portfolio includes working on the development of Orange Money in Africa and supporting industries such as, banking, transport and telecommunication in their transformation towards new technologies.

Her talented expertise stems from a 16-year background in software and telecommunication, as well as extensive levels of product management in financial services.

SVP - Operations & Customer Success

Justin is the Senior Vice President of Operations & Customer Success at RedCloud, leading Platform Operations, Go-To-Market strategy, logistics, and Customer Engagement across our global markets. With over 20 years of experience across Telecom and FMCG, he also holds an MBA, a PGDBA in Customer Relationship Management, and a B.Sc. in Information Technology, bringing a unique blend of strategic, commercial, and customer-focused expertise to the role. Justin is passionate about the FMCG trading ecosystem in emerging markets, driving digital adoption and leveraging data-driven insights to enhance customer engagement and success.

Chief Marketing Officer

James has 25 years of marketing experience across the full mix, specialising in launch and growth of technology solutions for major brands like Microsoft and Vodafone, then more recently applying this to smaller startups and scale-ups. 

His leadership in marketing and positioning emerging tech brands and products continues to amplify RedCloud’s vision and go-to-market approach across the globe.

Gillian Hinton
Chief People Officer

Gillian has 20+ years in HR, with specialisms in people strategy, employment law, recruitment and HR operations. She has worked in FTSE 100 Financial Services companies and founded her own successful HR outsourcing company. She has a degree in Psychology and is a Chartered Member of CIPD.

Chief of Staff

Ethan brings over a decade of leadership experience from the British military, where he managed teams and operations across multiple international deployments.

He has since built expertise in strategy and operational delivery across the technology and defence sectors.

At RedCloud, Ethan partners with the executive team to drive growth, streamline operations, and scale the company’s mission to transform global supply chains.

Neil Woodman
SVP - Finance

Neil is responsible for Finance at RedCloud. He has a strong track record of building & leading high-performing finance teams. Neil brings over 28 years of comprehensive Global finance leadership experience, primarily in the Software, SAAS & E-Commerce industries with versatile experience in the areas of strategic FP&A business partnering, technical accounting and VC fund raising.

Richard Brenchley

Richard is a seasoned professional with 17 years’ experience in the tech and financial sectors in Africa. He has demonstrated a consistent record of success working on some phenomenal projects which include the delivery of Vodacom’s implementation of Alipay called VodaPay; and Instant card issuing for EcoBank across 20+ countries in Africa.

Juandre is our Senior Vice President of Products. His excellent business leadership skills have been informed by
over 15 years of experience in business strategy, product management and digital execution in emerging markets. As a talented professional, his success includes having worked setting and executing product and vision strategy at Vodacom; and leading portfolio growth of Jumo (African Fintech).

Hans Kunz
Chairman

Hans has co-founded RedCloud with the vision to pioneer the way in which banking services are accessed in emerging markets. His expertise in investment banking was earned through 22 years at Bear Stearns International as a Senior Managing Director, member of the Board and Executive committee. Hans is also an international investor and a board member in various industries. His financial market insight will help pioneer RedCloud’s future commercial strategies.

Dr Nick Senn
Board Member

With over 30 years of experience in Investment Banking and Asset Management Nick brings a wide range of expertise to the Board of RedCloud. A former Managing Director at UBS in London, he was responsible for large trading operations in Derivatives, Fixed Income, Currency and Emerging Markets at UBS London, Dresdner Kleinwort Benson and WestLB. He is now Managing Partner, Board Member and investor of several independent companies in the industrial, real estate and service sector.
